Egolf scores 24, Miller adds 14 as Valley wins on senior night

Tippecanoe Valley 52, Wawasee 31 (Tuesday): Ava Egolf scored a season-high 24 points in her final home game, and fellow senior Chesnee Miller added 14 for the host Lady Vikings in a senior night win over Wawasee Tuesday.

Egolf also had a team-high nine rebounds.

Valley improved to 17-3 going into their regular season finale at Manchester tonight. They have won nine of the last 11 meetings against Wawasee.

In addition to Egolf and Miller, other feted seniors included Kelsey Cox, Macy Petersen and Ava Smith.

Wawasee fell to 13-8. Only twice in their previous 20 games had they scored fewer points.

Valley led 31-19 at halftime and extended the lead to 46-24 after three quarters.
