Greenfield-Central’s Mullins named Mr. Basketball

Boys basketball
Braylon Mullins, a 6-6 guard from Greenfield-Central, was named Indiana Mr. Basketball Sunday.
Media and boys varsity coaches voted online. The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association conducted the voting.
Mullins will wear uniform No. 1 when the Indiana All-Stars play Kentucky in their annual series. This year’s games will occur at Lexington Catholic High School in Kentucky June 6 and at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis June 7.
Mullins led the state with a 32.9 scoring average, and he also averaged 5.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 3.7 steals and 1.1 blocks per game in leading Greenfield-Central to a 23-4 record.
Mullins is the first Mr. Basketball winner from Greenfield-Central and the sixth Indiana All-Star from Greenfield or Greenfield-Central. He is a University of Connecticut signee.
