Heinzmann signs with Huntington for softball

Rochester senior Maddi Heinzmann has signed to continue her softball and academic careers at Huntington University.

Heinzmann, a first baseman, hit .246 with 18 RBIs for the Lady Zs in 2023. She hit .125 after coming back from ACL surgery in 2022. She hit .324 with 16 RBIs and an .830 OPS as a sophomore in 2021.

Future teammates at Huntington will include 2020 Caston grad Ady Harsh, 2021 Pioneer grad Mackenzie Walker and 2023 Caston grad Kinzie Mollenkopf.
