Tippecanoe Valley 20, Maconaquah 17 (Friday): Jamasyn Virgil ran for 125 yards and a touchdown, and Hunter Eherenman ran for 58 yards and the game-winning score in the fourth quarter as the host Vikings beat Maconaquah Friday.
Valley improved to 5-2 overall and 5-1 in the Three Rivers Conference. The win was Valley’s first over Maconaquah since 1976 and their first since becoming conference rivals in 2015.
Alex Craft had 31 yards rushing on six carries, and Joel Cisneros had eight carries for 29 yards.
Branson McBrier threw for 59 yards and also had a touchdown run.
Johnny Gonsalez had 11 tackles, and Virgil had 10 tackles on defense. Freshman Dalton Alber had a sack. Quentin Aldridge had a fumble recovery.
Carter Little ran for 136 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries for the Braves. Senior quarterback Nolan Kelly had eight carries for 88 yards and a touchdown. Kelly also threw for 57 yards.
Maconaquah led 17-13 at halftime. Valley never led until Eherenman’s touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Culver 36, Caston 12 (Friday): Shane Shuman ran for 155 yards and two touchdowns, and Blake Thompson ran for 112 yards and two scores as the Cavaliers earned a Hoosier North home win over Caston Friday.
Emiliano Ortiz ran for 80 yards and a touchdown, including a 32-yard run.
Sam Smith ran for 106 yards and a touchdown for the Comets. Damian Sullivan had a 35-yard touchdown reception. Evan Howard had a 59-yard reception.
Grant Hickle threw for 98 yards and a touchdown and also made 12 tackles on defense.
Landon Shafer led the defense with 15 tackles, and Smith had 14 stops. Caydin Webb and Jessie Rock-Wolf had 12 tackles each, and Garrison Hickle had 10 tackles.
Culver led 22-6 at halftime.

Pioneer 38, Knox 20 (Friday): Brock Robinson ran for 169 yards and three touchdowns, and Ezra Lewellen ran for 136 yards and two scores as the visiting Panthers improved to 40-0 all-time in Hoosier North play with a win over Knox Friday.
Addai Lewellen ran for 51 yards on seven carries, and Cayden Hill had eight carries for 31 yards.
Robinson had two two-point conversions, and Ezra Lewellen and Addai Lewellen had one each.
Pioneer had 387 yards rushing as a team.
Addai Lewellen led the defense with 16 tackles, and Derrick LeGrand had 12 tackles, and Tyler Gaumer had 11.
Pioneer, ranked No. 3 in Class 2A, led 32-6 at halftime.

Winamac 35, West Central 12 (Friday): Russell Compton threw a touchdown pass and ran for two more scores for the host Warriors in a win over county rival West Central Friday.
Hayden Clark and Trent Fox also had touchdown runs for Winamac (3-2). Brayden Lynch had a 26-yard touchdown reception.
Fox’s touchdown came on a 44-yard run in the fourth quarter. He led Winamac with 77 yards rushing. Compton had 53 yards rushing and another 39 passing.
Winamac had a 232-197 advantage in rushing yards.
Jaden Terry had a 13-yard reception on offense and an interception on defense. Beau Brandt had two fumble recoveries on defense, and Patrick Kiefer also recovered a fumble.
Max Murray converted all five of his extra point tries.
Winamac had no turnovers and West Central had four.
Winamac led 21-6 at halftime.
Winamac has beaten West Central 11 straight times. Winamac closes the regular season with road games against Caston and Triton.
