Jackson scores 11, but Culver drops Bi-County title game to Bremen

Bremen 58, Culver 26 (Saturday): Braylon Jackson scored 11 points, but the Cavaliers lost to Bremen in the Bi-County Tournament final at LaVille’s Dale E. Cox Gymnasium Saturday.
Caleb McCuen, Jonas McCuen and Jordan Green added four points each for the Cavaliers. John Carr added two, and Drake Zorich had one.
Chase Devine led the Class 2A, No. 7 Lions with 21 points. Bryce Miller added 14 points, and Riley Tener had 13.
Bremen led 17-6 after one quarter and extended their lead to 35-13 at halftime.
Bremen improved to 13-0. Culver fell to 4-10.
Bremen also won the girls title with a 52-20 win over John Glenn.
This marked the first time since 1990 that Bremen swept both Bi-County tournaments.
