Jackson scores 14, but South Central hit their Marks in win over Culver

Girls basketball

South Central (Union Mills) 58, Culver 35 (Nov. 9): Kennedy Jackson had a team-high 14 points and five rebounds, but the visiting Lady Cavaliers lost to South Central on Nov. 9.

Grace Sieber had eight points and a team-high five assists. Sieber and Rose Peterson (six points) hit two 3-pointers each.

Olivia Marks had 28 points and 10 rebounds for South Central. Lillian Tolmen added 11.

South Central led 16-9 after one quarter and extended the lead to 34-20 at halftime.

South Central also had a 26-18 rebounding advantage.

Culver has not beaten South Central since November 2013.
