Moore takes medalist with 41, leads Rochester past Logansport

Rochester 195, Logansport 196 (Tuesday): Rochester’s Molly Moore took medalist honors with a 41 as the host Lady Zs beat Logansport at Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek Tuesday.
Lexi Haughs added a 46, Audrey Widman had a 53, Lily Chipps had a 55, and Makenna Jackson had a 64.
Widman’s score was a personal best for nine holes and comes three days after she set a personal best for 18 holes at the Lady Broncho Invitational.
Izzy Lundy and Kendal Kranz each shot a 47 to lead Logansport.
The teams will next face off at the Twin Lakes sectional at Tippecanoe Country Club in Monticello Sept. 21.
Logansport is the defending sectional champion. Rochester won the sectional in 2024.
