Neese wins set, but Valley boys tennis falls to Peru

Peru 5, Tippecanoe Valley 0 (Tuesday): Dylan Neese won the second set at No. 2 singles from Ben Beckman, but the host Vikings fell to Peru Tuesday.

Beckman recovered to win the third set 6-0.

Payton Mills and Mason Purvis each lost in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 3 singles, respectively. Ethan Hartman and Annakin Pettit lost at No. 1 doubles, and Wyatt Reiter and Cooper Walls lost at No. 2 doubles.
