Pioneer’s Rogers signs with Vanguard for volleyball

Pioneer senior Mackenzie Rogers signed with Vanguard University to continue her academic and volleyball careers Wednesday.
Rogers had 269 kills, 36 aces, 42 blocks, 344 digs, 361 assists and 226 serves received this fall while leading Pioneer to 24 wins and Hoosier North, sectional and regional titles.
Vanguard is an NAIA school located in Costa Mesa, Calif., approximately halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego. The Lions are 26-1 so far this season and will play in the NAIA National Tournament beginning Nov. 18.
