Pizur scores 11 in Culver loss to Bremen

Bremen 35, Culver 32 (Friday): Joey Pizur scored 11 points for the visiting Cavaliers in a loss to Bremen Friday.

Emiliano Ortiz added eight, Oliver Morgan had six, Shane Shuman had five, and Ethan Keller had two for Culver (10-12), who will play Trinity Greenlawn in a Class 1A, Sectional 50 quarterfinal at Triton on Tuesday.

Baylor Orcutt led the Lions (2-20) with 14 points.

Bremen led 20-16 at halftime and extended the lead to 28-22 after three quarters.

Culver lost to Bremen for the seventh straight time.
