Gonzalez makes honorable mention

Rochester softball players Bria Rensberger, Aubrey Miller, Aubrey Wilson and Jadyn Field were all named All-Three Rivers Conference in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media Tuesday.

In addition, Adalyn Gonzalez was named honorable mention All-TRC.

Rensberger went 15-2 on the season with 33 walks and 212 strikeouts in 128 ⅔ innings. Her only losses were to Class 3A, No. 5 Roncalli and Class 2A semistate champion Western Boone.

She also hit .254 with one homer and 11 RBIs.

Miller, a senior center fielder, hit .397 with a team-high 19 walks that elevated her on-base percentage to .515. She finished with a .964 OPS.

Wilson, a junior shortstop, hit .452 with two homers and 35 RBIs. She led the team with 14 extra-base hits and had a 1.219 OPS.

Field, a junior first baseman-catcher, hit .321 with one homer and 31 RBIs and a .778 OPS.

Gonzalez, a freshman right fielder, hit .304 with one homer and 15 RBIs and an .897 OPS. She walked six times and was hit by 12 pitches.

Rochester won the conference title with a 9-0 record for the second straight year.
