The Rochester boys soccer team’s season opener against John Glenn scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday has been postponed.
No reason was given for the postponement. The Rochester athletic department said in a tweet that they could find a substitute opponent for a game at a later date, or they could reschedule the John Glenn game.
The game was scheduled to be the first for new coach Elmer Roque.
The Rochester girls soccer team will travel to John Glenn and play as scheduled at noon Saturday.
Saturday is the first day statewide that girls soccer contests may occur.
