Thompson, Bussard both homer, Valley beats Plymouth in 5

Tippecanoe Valley 13, Plymouth 3 (5 innings, April 14): Maddie Thompson homered and drove in three runs, and Dalynne Bussard homered and drove in two for Valley in a win over visiting Plymouth on April 14.

Madi Smith doubled twice and added three RBIs, and Corinna Stiles had two singles and two RBIs. Mackaylie Costello had a double and an RBI, and Abby Bowers and Brittany Benn each had a hit.

Hailey Swope had an RBI.

Bowers also pitched a six-hitter with three walks and three strikeouts.

Valley led 5-3 going into the bottom of the fifth before scoring eight runs to end the game.
