Trailing 1-0 in 2nd half, Culver comes back to beat Twin Lakes, preserve undefeated season

Culver 3, Twin Lakes 1 (Wednesday): Eliana Andrzejewski scored the go-ahead goal in the 72nd minute and also dished out an assist to Ava McCune for a goal as the host Lady Cavaliers defeated Twin Lakes Wednesday.

Julia Stoch scored the equalizer off an Alexis Gasanovas assist for Class 1A, No. 20 Culver (9-0) in the 67th minute after Twin Lakes’ Yolanda Mares opened the scoring three minutes earlier.

Bre Hamilton had the assist on Andrzejewski’s goal.

The game was scoreless at halftime.

Culver hosts Westville at 6 p.m. Eastern Thursday.
