Valley beats Jimtown, clinches INSC girls tennis title

Girls tennis
Tippecanoe Valley 4, Jimtown 1 (Tuesday): Karegan Callahan and Savana Miller won in straight sets at Nos. 1 and 2 singles, respectively, and Valley also won both doubles matches in straight sets in beating host Jimtown and securing the first Indiana Northern State Conference girls tennis title Tuesday.
Callahan beat Natalie Butler 6-1, 6-0. Miller took care of Lucy Rosentreter 6-0, 6-1.
Sarah Finney and Ella Sandbakken knocked off Amalyah Brothers and Nadia Urban 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Karley Hallstrom and Maci Parker won 6-1, 6-0 over Zoe Kinnison and Claire Thilman at No. 2 doubles.
Bella Parker lost in straight sets at No. 3 singles.
Valley also won the JV match 6-0.
