Valley boys tennis falls to Whitko in sectional quarterfinals

The Tippecanoe Valley boys tennis team lost to Whitko 3-2 in a Warsaw sectional quarterfinal Wednesday.

No individual match details have been released.

Whitko will play Warsaw, who received a bye, in the semifinals at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Columbia City and Wawasee will meet in the other semifinal.

The sectional final is at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Valley has never won a sectional title in boys tennis. They have not won a sectional match since 2016.

Valley defeated Whitko 3-2 on Sept. 20 in their regular season meeting.
