Boys tennis

Goshen 5, Tippecanoe Valley 0 (Saturday): Goshen won all five matches in straight sets over the host Vikings Saturday.

William Mellott, Noah Mellott and Thad Shambaugh lost singles matches.

Liam Newcomer and Hayden Stookey lost at No. 1 doubles, and J.J. Kammerer and Brent Miller lost at No. 2 doubles.

Goshen also won the JV match 8-1.

Tippecanoe Valley 4, Knox 1 (Thursday): William Mellott and Thad Shambaugh won their singles matches, and the doubles teams of Liam Newcomer and Hayden Stookey and J.J. Kammerer and Brent Miller also prevailed for Valley in an Indiana Northern State Conference road win over Knox Thursday.

All four Valley wins came in straight sets.

Noah Mellott lost at No. 2 singles in straight sets.

Valley also won the JV match 2-0.
