Valley rides hot start to TRC road win over Maconaquah

Tippecanoe Valley 56, Maconaquah 25 (Nov. 22): Kaydence Mellott scored eight of her

game-high 17 points in the first quarter, and Molly Moriarty added 12 for the Tippecanoe Valley girls basketball team in a road win over Maconaquah in their Three Rivers Conference opener Nov. 22.

Valley jumped out to an 18-3 lead after one quarter and never trailed.

Miranda Stoll had 14 points, and Courtney Stoll had 10 for Maconaquah.

Valley is 8-0 against Maconaquah since the schools became conference rivals in 2015, winning each game by at least 13 points.

Maconaquah first-year coach Ray Davis is a 1982 Valley grad.
