Valley rolls past Wawasee, will face Warsaw next

The Tippecanoe Valley girls tennis team defeated Wawasee 5-0 in a Sectional 61 quarterfinal match at Warsaw Wednesday. Valley will play the host Lady Tigers at 4:30 p.m. today in the semifinals.
Tippecanoe Valley 5, Wawasee 0 (Wednesday): The Valley girls tennis team won all five matches in straight sets over Wawasee in a sectional quarterfinal at Warsaw Wednesday.
Valley lost only nine games in 10 sets combined.
Savana Miller, Bella Parker and Adela Cerna swept their singles matches.
Karley Hallstrom and Maci Parker won at No. 1 doubles, and Kinley Crabb and Maycee Koch won at No. 2 doubles.
Valley will play Warsaw, who received a bye, in the semifinals at 4:30 p.m. today. Warsaw has won 24 consecutive sectional titles.
RESULTS: VALLEY 5, WAWASEE 0
Singles
Savana Miller (TV) won 6-1, 6-0.
Bella Parker (TV) won 6-1, 6-0.
Adela Cerna (TV) won 6-2, 6-3.
Doubles
Karley Hallstrom-Maci Parker (TV) won 6-0, 6-1.
Kinley Crabb-Maycee Koch (TV) won 6-1, 6-0.
