Tippecanoe Valley senior Wade Jones finished 20th at the IHSAA boys track state finals in the 200 meters at the Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex in Bloomington Saturday.
Jones was timed in 23.16 seconds in his preliminary heat. Only the top nine in the preliminaries made it to the finals.
Jones was running in the 200 at state for the third straight year. He was 24th in 2022 and 23rd in 2023.
Jones was seeded 22nd coming into the race.
