Lady Vikings make 10 treys, improve to 4-2 in TRC

Tippecanoe Valley 64, Peru 27 (Tuesday): Sidney Wagner scored a game-high 24 points, and Kaydence Mellott sunk four 3-pointers and added 16 for the host Lady Vikings in a Three Rivers Conference win over Peru Tuesday.
Lily Ault scored all 10 of her points in the second half for Valley, who improved to 10-7 overall and 4-2 in the TRC. Valley has not been mathematically eliminated from TRC title contention, but they must win their three remaining conference games to remain alive.
Valley made 10 3-pointers while Peru made only one.
Valley led 25-7 after one quarter. They led 31-14 at halftime.
Valley is 6-0 against Peru since the teams became conference rivals in the 2015-16 school year. Valley has not lost to Peru since Feb. 1, 2010.
Valley also won the JV game 38-23. Molly Moriarty scored eight points, and Sidney Nelson added seven for the Valley JV.
