Warsaw’s big 6th inning helps beat Zebras

Tarick McGlothin had two doubles and three RBIs, but the Rochester baseball team lost to Warsaw 10-5 at Bob Copeland Field Saturday.

Tanner Reinartz had a hit and an RBI. Colton Ferverda had a hit and a run scored. Jake Seuferer walked twice. Gavin Young scored two runs.

Brayden Zink pitched the first two innings, Aaron Huffman followed in the third and fourth, Evan Elliott pitched the fifth, Ethan Medina pitched the sixth, and Reinartz pitched the seventh.

Rochester pitchers combined to walk seven and hit three batters. They struck out eight.

Rochester trailed 4-0 after two innings before rallying to tie the game 5-5 after four innings. Warsaw scored four runs in the sixth inning to take a 9-5 lead.

Rochester lost their second straight game and fell to 11-3. Warsaw improved to 6-6.
