Boys basketball
Rochester boys basketball players Jonas Kiser and Carson Paulik were named first-team All-Three Rivers Conference in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media Tuesday.
In addition, Liam Spence was voted honorable mention All-TRC.
Kiser, a 6-4 senior forward, averaged 15.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, leading the team in both categories. He scored in double figures in 18 of Rochester’s 23 games, including a career-high 31 in a 49-45 loss to Lewis Cass Jan. 16.
Paulik, a 6-0 senior guard, averaged 9 points, 4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 assists per game. Paulik scored a career-high 22 points in a 56-41 loss to Peru Feb. 20.
Spence, a 6-2 junior forward, averaged 5.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks per game in his first year playing for the Zebras. He played his first two seasons at Mishawaka Marian.
This marks the first time Kiser, Paulik and Spence have received All-TRC recognition.
Rochester went 10-13 overall and 4-5 in the TRC in 2025-26. The season ended with a 75-54 loss to Oak Hill in the Class 2A, Sectional 38 final Saturday.
