No RTC area players were selected for the Indiana Girls All-Star team released Wednesday, but Warsaw stars Joslyn Bricker and Brooke Zartman were both selected.
Bricker and Zartman were among 12 players who will join Miss Basketball Gracyn Gilliard of Center Grove on the team.
The All-Stars will play in a Junior-Senior exhibition game at Greenfield-Central High School June and against the Kentucky All-Stars June 5-6. The June 5 game will be played at a site in Kentucky to be announced, and the June 6 game will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The team is selected through a balloting process of coaches and media overseen by game organizers from the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association. The top vote getter is named Miss Basketball, and the remainder of the team is “finalized” by All-Star game director Mike Broughton after observing numerous games and events throughout the season, conferring with coaches, school officials and media across the state. Broughton also reviews votes submitted by coaches and media who each could recommend up to 10 players.
