West Central at Caston, 7 p.m.
West Central is coming off a 10-2 season last year, their winningest season since coach Marc Hall took over in 2014.
Two of their wins came against Caston, including a 28-6 win at Caston in the sectional quarterfinals that capped off Caston;s 14th straight loss and their third winless season in the last five seasons.
West Central has a three-year starter at quarterback in senior Connor Marlatt. Meanwhile, sophomore Gavin Mollenkopf takes over under center after the graduation of Landon Shafer.
Mollenkopf will look to distribute the ball to offensive weapons like leading returning rusher Jabez Yarber and senior tight end Grant Yadon, the team’s top returning receiver.
This will also mark the debut of Lance Hanna, a senior wide receiver who moved in from Rossville.
