Winamac falls to Boone Grove in sectional semis

The Winamac baseball team lost to Boone Grove 11-1 in a Class 2A, Sectional 34 semifinal at Hebron Saturday.

Winamac, one of four teams that shared the Hoosier North title, finished the season 13-9.

Boone Grove went on to beat Rensselaer 9-2 in the sectional final Monday.

The game marked the final high school game for Winamac senior Paxton Wallace.
