Girls basketball
Plymouth 47, Winamac 41 (final, 2 OT, Tuesday): Maggie Smith scored nine points, grabbed 15 rebounds and dished out four assists, and Alyssa Villanueva also scored nine points for Winamac in a loss to host Plymouth in two overtimes Tuesday.
Kingsley Kroft added eight points, Kaya Campbell had six, and Aubrey Gearhart had five.
Lindsay Janus and Clare Sheedy had 12 points each for Plymouth.
Winamac led 23-18 at halftime. The game was tied at 36 after regulation and 38 after the first overtime.
This was Winamac’s first overtime game since a 58-56 win over North White in November 2015. This was Winamac’s first multiple-overtime game since a 58-55 win over Rochester on Nov. 27, 2010.
Winamac lost to Plymouth for the third straight year.

Winamac 36, Triton 35 (Jan. 12): Kingsley Kroft knocked down six 3-pointers and scored 18 points, and Maggie Smith hit the go-ahead jumper with 2:18 left to lift Winamac to a Hoosier North home win over Triton Jan. 12.
Kroft and Smith combined to score all 10 Winamac points in the fourth quarter. They were the only Winamac players with multiple field goals.
Taren Yates, Lexia Hostrawser and Addyson Viers scored nine points each for Triton. Abbey Viers added eight.
Triton led 22-13 at halftime and 30-26 after three quarters.

Kingsley Kroft hit a pair of 3-pointers in the second half and had six.
Remi Jordan had 17, Felicity Olejniczak had 13, and Megan Bolen had 12 for Knox.
Knox led 14-6 at halftime and extended the lead to 41-14 after three quarters.
