Winamac shot putters Charles Disinger finished 12th and 14th, respectively, at the Valparaiso boys track regional Thursday, ending their seasons.

Disinger, a sophomore who won the Rensselaer sectional on May 16, had a throw that went 44-10. His winning throw at the sectional was 47-6.

Keller, a senior, had a toss of 44-2 at Valparaiso after taking third at the sectional with a throw of 46-7.

The top three in each event plus those meeting a difficult qualifying standard advanced to the IHSAA state finals, which will be held at the Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex in Bloomington on June 1.
