Young shoots 41, helps Valley win 5-way match at Peru Municipal

Tippecanoe Valley 181, North Miami 220, Caston 228, Pioneer 229, Lakeland Christian 263 (Thursday): Led by medalist Ethan Young’s 41, the Valley boys golf team won a dual against host North Miami and three others at Peru Municipal Golf Course Thursday.

Greg Miller added a 46, and Eli Love, Wes Parker and Nash Bouse each added a 47.

A.J. Dague led Caston with a 44, and Colby Pugh added a 46. Luke Graham had a 65, and Chas Warpenburg carded a 73.

Pioneer’s low scorer was freshman Micah Rans, who had a 52. Tayt Smith had a 56, Jaden Seward had a 59, Colten Miller had a 62, and Brady Price had a 67.
