Zeider scores 17, Stinson adds 13, but Caston falls in sectional final

Boys basketball

Tri-County 47, Caston 40 (Saturday): Talon Zeider scored 17 points, and Caleb Stinson added 13, but the Caston boys basketball team lost to Tri-County in the Class 1A, Sectional 52 final at Caston Saturday.

Lane Hook added six, and Grant Yadon had four for Caston, who finished 11-13.

Koby Bahler led Tri-County with 15 points. Drew Foster added 13, including seven in the fourth quarter. Eric Zarse hit a pair of 3-pointers in the second half and scored 10.

Caston led 19-15 at halftime.

Tri-County won their second straight sectional and their 10th in school history. They will play Elkhart Christian at North Judson in a regional Saturday.
