Softball held hitless in loss to South Bend Adams

Kouts 12, Argos 9 (6 innings, Tuesday): Dylan Kindig had a double and an RBI, and Kayden Brady had a single for Argos in a home loss to Kouts Tuesday.
The game was called in the top of the sixth inning due to darkness.
Jamin Trump had two RBIs, and Jackson Kindig, Kyle Bradley and Mason Hibner each contributed one RBI.
Kole Burkholder started and allowed eight hits and nine runs (two earned) in 3 ⅔ innings. He walked one and struck out eight. Dylan Kindig allowed four hits and three runs (all earned) in 1 ⅔ innings. He walked two and struck out one.
Argos committed nine errors which led to seven unearned runs for Kouts.
Argos led 7-1 after one inning and still led 9-7 after three innings before Kouts tied it in the fourth and took the lead in the fifth.

Argos-South Bend Career Academy games postponed: The Argos-South Bend Career Academy baseball game scheduled for Friday and Saturday were both postponed.
The game scheduled for Friday has been rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. April 18 at South Bend Career Academy.
The game scheduled for Saturday has been rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. April 21 at Argos.
Softball
South Bend Adams 20, Argos 0 (5 innings, Thursday): South Bend Adams scored 12 runs in the top of the first inning and added six more in the third and cruised past Argos Thursday.
Three different South Bend Adams pitchers combined on a no-hitter.
Lillyanna McMillen had a walk for Argos.
Aleasia Sarver pitched two innings and allowed seven hits and 12 runs (six earned). She walked four and struck out nine.
Allison Zahm allowed nine hits and seven runs (six earned) in two innings. Carleigh Miller pitched the fifth and allowed one unearned runs. She walked none and fanned one.
Argos committed eight errors which led to eight unearned runs.
South Bend Adams had six extra-base hits, including two homers.

Culver 10, Argos 9 (Tuesday): Brylee Elliott had two hits and two runs scored, and Ava Stackhouse and Kara Sabanski each had a double and two RBIs for Argos in a loss to visiting Culver Tuesday. Lilyl McMillen had a single and two RBIs.
Allison Zahm, Carleigh Miller and Kendra Burkholder each had a single and an RBI. Zahm also walked twice and scored three times.
Zahm pitched the first four innings and allowed five hits and seven runs (four earned). She walked eight and struck out six. Aleasia Sarver pitched three innings in relief and allowed five hits and three runs (three earned). She walked four and struck out one.
Argos led 5-3 after two innings but fell behind 10-5 going into the bottom of the seventh before scoring four.
Argos committed four errors that led to three unearned runs for Culver.
