Girls golf
Rochester 177, Maconaquah 179 (Tuesday): Olivia Bailey earned medalist honors with a 1-under par 35 as the Rochester girls golf team edged Maconaquah over the front nine at Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek Tuesday.
Ava Thomas added a 43, Molly Moore had a 46, and Laynie Migonis and Lexi Haughs each shot a 53.
Bailey birdied the par-4 second hole and the par-5 fourth. She bogeyed No. 8.
Daisy Williams, the three-time reigning Three Rivers Conference medalist, led Maconaquah with a 37.
The teams will meet again at the TRC tournament at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru on Sept. 14.
