Tippecanoe Valley 58, Whitko 35 (Dec. 17): Kaydence Mellott scored a game-high 19 points, and Carlee Snyder added a career-high 14 for the Tippecanoe Valley girls

basketball team in a Three Rivers Conference road win over Whitko on Dec. 17.

Molly Moriarty added 10 for Valley (12-2), who won their ninth straight game and improved to 4-0 in the TRC. Valley is the only remaining unbeaten team in the TRC.

Merlot outscored the entire Whitko team 14-12 in the first half as Valley opened up a 20-point lead.

Valley defeated Whitko for the 12th straight year.
