Junior high golf
The Caston Junior High golf team edged LaVille 144-145 at Woodbury Golf Club in Plymouth on April 24.
Gage Thomas led Caston with a 56, Luke Hipsher had a 57, Carter Moss had a 64, Gabriel Burkett-Rader had a 67, and Drew Douglass and Alyssa Smith each had a 72.
Caston also finished third in a three-way match against Urey and Triton on May 4. Urey had a 257, Triton had a 279, and Caston had a 291.
Thomas led Caston with a 63, Hipsher had a 65, Smith had a 68, Burkett-Rader carded a 69, Moss shot a 70, and Douglass had a 72.
