Evans scores career-high 16, leads 4 in double figures

Caston 66, Lakeland Christian 25 (Nov. 21): Josh Evans hit four 3-pointers and scored a career-high 16 points to lead four players in double figures as the Comets started the season with a road rout of Lakeland Christian on Nov. 21.
Talon Zeider hit two 3s and scored 12, and Caleb Stinson and freshman Lane Hook added 10 each.
As a team, Caston hit 11 3-pointers. They also made as many free throws as Lakeland Christian attempted (nine). Nine different Caston players scored.
Caston led 35-17 at halftime and extended the lead to 53-22 after three quarters.
Caston had lost their previous three season openers.
Micah Martin scored a game-high 21 points for Lakeland Christian.
