Rochester 15, Carroll (Flora) 4 (5 innings, Tuesday): Colton Ferverda went 3 for 3 with a single, double and triple and five RBIs, and Conner Dunfee struck out seven over four innings for the Rochester JV baseball team in a win over visiting Carroll at Bob Copeland Field Tuesday.
Callen Ferverda went 2 for 2 with an RBI and two runs scored, and Drew Bowers and Dunfee each had a hit and two RBIs.
Elijah Jackson contributed a hit and an RBI, and Carter Meredith had an RBI. Brady Gamble walked twice and was hit by a pitch and scored three runs.
Carroll pitchers walked seven and hit four batters. Rochester also stole five bases.
Dunfee allowed three hits and four earned runs. He walked six and hit two batters. Bowers pitched a scoreless seventh with a walk and three strikeouts.
Already leading 8-4, Rochester scored seven runs in the bottom of the fourth.
