Culver’s Beach wins bracket at Whitko Invite

Girls wrestling

The Culver girls wrestling team finished 11th in the 27-team field at the Whitko Invitational Saturday.

Madison Beach went 4-0 on the day to win her bracket at 155 pounds. She was the only Culver wrestler to place.

Beach is a returning regional qualifier.

Other Culver wrestlers included sophomore Maci Reinhold (115), freshman Mailani Beach (120), freshman Violet Hinderlider (125 B), junior Lilly Kuykendoll (125 A), sophomore Mikayla Beach (130), senior Emily Hawkins (135) and senior Jada Vitale (235).

Mailani Beach and Mikayla Beach both went 2-2. Hinderlider and Kuykendoll both went 1-2. Reinhold, Hawkins and Vitale went 0-2.
