Girls basketball
Argos 46, North Miami 22 (Thursday): Lizzy Edmonds scored 14 points, and Madi VanDerWeele added 11 for the host Lady Dragons in a win over North Miami Thursday.
Argos won their sixth straight game to improve to 6-7. They are allowing their opponents to score 24.8 points per game during their winning streak.
They also beat North Miami for the first time since January 2017.
Bella Stults and Sydney Shepherd added six points each.
Argos led 24-12 at halftime.
Argos will travel to Oak Hill at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Freshman Kaiden Hanley led North Miami (2-9) with seven points.
