Heishman leads Rochester with 42, but Northwestern prevails

Northwestern 158, Rochester 180 (Tuesday): Hudson Whaley shot a 36 to claim medalist honors for the visiting Tigers in a win over Rochester on the front nine at Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek Tuesday.

Isaac Heishman shot a 42 to lead Rochester. Jack Reffett had a 44, Ashton Musselman had a 46, Brevin Nicholson fired a 48, Parker Brown carded a 49, Adam Reinhold had a 55, and Waylon Thomas had a 65.

Whaley’s round included three birdies, three pars and three bogeys. Northwestern is the defending Three Rivers Conference champion, winning the title at Round Barn last spring.
