Manikowski scores career-high 16, helps Argos beat Pioneer

Argos 44, Pioneer 32 (Dec. 17): Nate Manikowski hit three 3-pointers and scored a career-high 16 points, and J.J. Morris added 15 points for the visiting Dragons as they won their second road game in as many nights.

Sean Richard added eight points, all in the second half. Luke Stults had five.

Argos (5-2) led 24-12 at halftime.

Caleb Sweet led Pioneer (1-5) with 11 points. Drew McKaig and Brayden Erickson had eight points each.

Argos beat Pioneer for the third straight year.

In the JV game, Pioneer beat Argos 40-37. Luke Blackman led Pioneer with 17 points, Ryan Looker added 14, and Noah Miller had nine.

Hunter Xaver had 11 points for Argos.
