NM’s Hoover wins discus, shot at Knight Relays

North Miami sophomore Andrea Hoover won both the discus and the shot put at the Knight Relays at Southwood Friday.
Hoover won the discus with a throw of 104-2, beating out teammate and runner-up Grace Sailors’ throw of 90-7.
Hoover’s heave of 39-1 in the shot put beat the rest of the field by over nine feet.
North Miami also won the 4 x 110 shuttle hurdle relay in 1:11.69.
Team scores were not made available to RTC.
