Caston’s Scales, Zimpleman, Harness, Culver’s Jackson join her on first team

Pioneer senior point guard Ashlynn Brooke has been named Hoosier North MVP for the second straight year in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media.
Brooke, a Ball State signee, averaged 23.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 5 steals per game. She scored 596 points on the season and finished with 1,533 career points.
Brooke was the only Pioneer player to make the first team. Teammates Kylie Attinger (8.5 ppg, 6.3 rpg) and Paula Collado Fernandez (8.1 ppg, 4.6 rpg) both earned honorable mention status.
Meanwhile, three players from conference champion Caston also made the first team. They included Isabel Scales (16.4 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 3.2 apg, 3.3 spg), Addison Zimpleman (11.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.2 apg) and Bailey Harness (9 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 1.8 apg).
Caston senior Kinzie Mollenkopf (4.3 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 1.7 apg) earned honorable mention recognition.
Culver’s Kennedy Jackson made the first team and Rose Peterson earned honorable mention.
