Bremen 53, Argos 45 (Wednesday): Sean Richard scored a game-high 19 points, and freshman Mekhi Austin hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points in his varsity debut, but the visiting Dragons fell to Bremen in the season opener for both teams Wednesday.
Richard had 13 points in the first half as Argos trailed 26-25.
Austin hit a 3-pointer in each quarter. Zhayne Hellums and Luke Stults added six points each.
Bremen also won the JV game 50-37. Obediah Salary led Argos with 19 points, Nick Grove had six, Fabion Olivares had three, and Preston Mollette, Kyle Penn, Sawyer Crace and Dominic Burns had two each. Enkhorgil Batocher had one.
