Rochester boys soccer roundup: Zebras fall to John Glenn, Metro Rage

Boys soccer
John Glenn 9, Rochester 0 (Monday): Seven different Falcons scored in a win over the visiting Zebras Monday.
Rowan Paton and Haiden Dill scored twice each, and Finn Chamberlin, Ethan Giszewski, Benjamin Pranger, Ashton Naragon and Beckum Jimenez scored once each. Paton and Chamberlin had two assists each.
Brayden Whitmer had three saves in goal for the shutout.
John Glenn led 6-0 at halftime.
Rochester lost their fourth straight game and fell to 3-10-1. Rochester finishes their regular season with a game at Culver at 5:30 p.m. today.
This loss followed a 3-2 loss at home to Winamac on Saturday.
Metro Rage 3, Rochester 1 (Thursday): Carlos Plascencia scored the lone Zebra goal in a home loss to Metro Rage Thursday.
Elliot Miller stopped two of the three shots he saw in net. Grant Reese saved three of the five shots he saw.
Metro Rage is a non-IHSAA affiliated club team consisting of players from Northfield and Southwood high schools.
