Parks, Casper make honorable mention

Baseball
Rochester baseball players Carson Paulik, Brady Coleman and Conner Dunfee were named first-team All-TRC in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media Tuesday.
In addition, Zakk Parks and Parker Casper were both named honorable mention All-TRC.
Paulik, a senior, went 4-2 with an 0.81 ERA on the mound. He allowed just 37 hits and 12 walks in 52 innings while striking out 79. He also hit .247 with three homers and 22 RBIs and an .846 OPS.
Coleman, a junior, went 3-1 with a 2.45 ERA and 35 strikeouts in 25 ⅔ innings. He allowed 16 hits and walked 11. He also hit .383 with two homers and 18 RBIs and a .979 OPS. His seven extra-base hits led the team.
Dunfee, a senior first baseman-pitcher, hit .348 with one homer and 21 RBIs and an .814 OPS. He also went 2-2 with a 4.06 ERA on the mound. In 29 ⅓ innings, he allowed 33 hits and 17 earned runs with 12 walks and 27 strikeouts.
Parks, a senior catcher, hit .341 with 10 RBIs and a .786 OPS.
Casper, a junior infielder-outfielder-pitcher, hit .312 with 17 RBIs and a .706 OPS. He also went 1-3 with a 6.66 ERA on the mound.
Rochester went 13-16 overall with a 5-4 TRC record. Northwestern won the conference with an 8-1 mark.
