Bailey, Straeter, Murphy win in straight sets

Lewis Cass 3, Rochester 2 (Monday): Singles players Olivia Bailey, Ellie Straeter and Emma Murphy all won in straight sets for the Lady Zs in a Three Rivers Conference home win over Lewis Cass Monday.

The singles players lost only 11 games combined in six sets.

J.J. Graber and Abriella St. Martin lost in three sets at No. 1 doubles after winning the second set in a tiebreaker. Hailey Crissinger and Ella Ramsey lost in straight sets at No. 2 doubles.

Rochester improved to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the Three Rivers Conference going into today’s match at Southwood.

Lewis Cass won the JV match 2-1.

Olivia Bailey (RHS) won 6-2, 6-1.

Ellie Straeter (RHS) won 6-3, 6-1.

Emma Murphy (RHS) won 6-0, 6-4

Doubles

Hailey Crissinger-Ella Ramsey (RHS) lost 6-0, 6-4.
