Winamac sports briefs: Boys games vs. Twin Lakes, Rochester postponed

Boys basketball

The Winamac boys basketball team’s games against Twin Lakes scheduled for Tuesday and Rochester Dec. 4 have both been postponed.

Winamac will now host Rochester at 6 p.m./7:30 p.m. (JV/Varsity) Jan. 5 and will travel to Twin Lakes at 6 p.m./7:30 p.m. Feb. 16.

Also, the scrimmage set for Nov. 21 against Kouts and the freshman game at Caston Nov. 23 were canceled.

Also, the freshman team’s game at Culver scheduled for Monday has been postponed to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 14.

Wrestling

Winamac 42, John Glenn 33 (Tuesday): Tyler Tankersley, Jacob Housinger, Brendan Day, Caleb Good, Ayddan Hartle, Paxton Wallace and Kyle Olds all won by fall for Winamac in a dual meet against John Glenn Tuesday.

Jadon Jones and Eli Matthews won JV matches.
