Zeider hits 7 treys, leads Caston past West Central

Caston 52, West Central 39 (Saturday): Kade Zeider hit seven 3-pointers and scored 21 points, and Joey Spin and Sam Smith added 10 points apiece for the visiting Comets in a win over winless West Central Saturday.

Bryce Rudicel added seven points.

Caston led 29-20 at halftime and extended the lead to 42-25 after three quarters.

Caston will host Rochester at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

West Central has lost 37 consecutive games dating back to the 2018-19 season.
