Winamac drops sectional semi to Pioneer, finishes 2-26

Volleyball

Pioneer def. Winamac, 25-7, 25-5, 25-9 (Saturday): The Winamac volleyball team lost a Class 2A, Sectional 36 semifinal to host Pioneer Saturday to end their season.

Winamac finished 2-26. They have not won a volleyball sectional title since 2014.

Wabash beat North Miami 25-19, 25-11, 13-25, 25-18 in the other semifinal.

Pioneer then went on to beat Wabash 25-18, 25-11, 25-15 in the final.
